At the time they were getting almost double the number of kills that other corps in PoH were getting! Personally I ain't got a problem with camping because if it works and you get kills, then why not? If someone doesn't think you are elite then that is their issue because I don't care about what others think of my gameplay

Good luck with the new policies tora BTW On the contrary, it confuses me how unfriendly mercs are with each other. Wardec costs don't scale with membership numbers. The optimal strategy would be to set up one mega-alliance and split the wardec costs between everyone. A thousand man alliance can maintain 4 times as many wars per member as 4 250 man alliances, which means more targets and an easier time killing them.
What Noragen said. It would get boring very very quickly.

To further explain,
Stupid loses even on non-contracted wartargets, causes contractors to go to another source. Contracts pay for a portion of the decs an alliance can run. So if somebody say Merc A loses a 1bil isk Vindicator, and a contractor will see this and compare to Merc B C and D, notice that they haven't lost anything expensive in a couple of weeks and go for one of them instead.

Of course a Nullsec corp could totally welp Marmite, or any other Mercbear (Diggin the term) dude and dudette out there. However Convincing 150+ Pilots to make a trip to Highsec and try to fight a merc corp would be pointless. It's such a large fleet it would instantly be noticed and avoided. Why would you willingly throw 30+ Dudes into a meat grinder?

Also Mercs go into Lowsec all the time, Nullsec not so much as most of us rock very shiny pods. Again it would be a near pointless unless your intent is to lose that pod in a beautiful firey death. So again whatever. And a lot of Merc have alts in other area's of EVE, WH Lowsec Nullsec, Like many EVE players with multiple accounts.
And they're are a ton of Highly skilled Mercs out there. Yeah some quad sebo a Gnosis and sit on a gate not expect someone to shoot back. That comes with the Alliance sadly. But Completely disregarding decent to truly good pilots just because they are in highsec is stupid and likely, Just like the quad Sebo'ed Gnosis who doesn't expect to fight, will take a Nullbear by surprise when suddenly his Loki is getting destroyed by a Dual XL-ASB Cyclone.

Obviously, saying anything on the matter is trollish and a waste of time because. Like Really. Come on.

I was with Enzee when he was in Aboslut and honestly he is a good guy and knows how to play the game. Kicking him was honestly a poor choice. Kypp made a great point 350 kills to five was it? Personally I hate when someone tries to tell me how to play a game. It's controlling and not in anyway worth it to be apart of when some guy in a video game is telling you what you can and cannot do within a Sandbox RPG. And as you've probably seen. It's really ******* hard to do just that. Running an alliance is like herding cats.
From experience I know other players are just like that.
Also from experience, I know players will get scared that if they risk, they will get punished. It happened with Aboslut. I saw it first hand. Kicking players for learning there own limits is idiotic. It provides no room for them to improve as players. It can arguably be said, that that form of leadership ideals, of,
"Don't risk, don't hub camp, if you die in a stupid way I'll kick you"
Is going cause your alliance to grow stale and crumble. Undock camping is honestly like mining in away. It's not intesive like all other forms of PVP in EVE is, it's relaxing and it a quick reward type style of play and it's no wonder some people like to do it. It's like masturbating, yeah it's not impressive but you still get off. And have you ever tried to stop somebody from doing that ****? I havn't I wouldn't want to.

Anyways. Just my two cents on your current events. Even with all the bullshit and drama crap, I honestly would hate to see one of the longest surviving mercenary dwindle out like this. You guys are a staple hood of Highsec. Don't let some bullshit nonsense break you up. Don't let something like a video be petty enough to break up a friendship like between Kypp and you, Tora. If it's not then you know YAY! But really don't let a video game make you get into an argument about some trivial bullshit.
